LOL.

So I'm on the phone with this lady and she's a patient of our's, I recognize her name. I'm about to take a message when I pull up her account and notice that she has been discharged for not paying her bill ($300-some). Her being discharged means we don't want to see her anymore, at least not until she pays her bill. So I tell her that she's been discharged and until she pays the amount sent to collections, the doctor is no longer treating her. She hesitates for a second and says "Well if that's the case I'll just call someone else" in a 'take that' sort of tone. That was funny because, well, that's what I just told her, that she needed to go somewhere else (unless she wanted to pay her bill).
